Copyright & DMCA Policy

Bookable respects intellectual-property rights and responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512). This policy explains how to submit a notice, how to file a counter-notification, and our repeat-infringer policy.

If you believe content hosted through the Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent that includes:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
• Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with enough detail (such as a URL) for us to locate it.
• Your contact information (address, telephone, and email).
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

If your content was removed and you believe it was removed in error or that you have the right to use it, you may send a counter-notification to our designated agent with your signature, identification of the removed material and its prior location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your contact information and consent to jurisdiction. We may restore the material as permitted by the DMCA if the original complainant does not seek a court order.

We may, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, disable or terminate the accounts or sites of users who are repeat infringers.

Under the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. Please consider whether your use is a fair use before submitting a notice.
