Cookie Policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies we use — and, importantly, how they differ between our own site and the websites we host for our customers.

Version 1.0Effective July 1, 2026Updated July 1, 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies and similar technologies (including browser localStorage) store small pieces of data on your device. We group them into strictly necessary / functional (needed to run the site and remember your choices), analytics (to understand usage), and — on our own site only — advertising-signal technologies.

2. Cookies on our site (bookable.co)

Our site uses first-party Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode. Basic first-party analytics is enabled by default. Google advertising signals stay off until you opt in; your choice is remembered in your browser. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out of sharing for advertising.

3. Cookies on websites we host for customers

Websites we build and host for our customers run each business’s own Google Analytics 4 property. For those sites, the business is the controller of the analytics. By default these sites use a track-by-default consent setting: analytics cookies (such as _ga) are set when the page loads, and a visitor can decline, after which tracking stops and the choice is remembered. A business can instead choose a consent-banner mode, in which no analytics cookies are set until the visitor accepts. If you visit one of these sites, the business’s own privacy and cookie notices apply in addition to this one.

The exact Google Analytics cookies present may vary with Google’s implementation. We do not set third-party advertising cookies beyond the consent-gated Google signals described above.

5. How to control cookies

  • Use the Cookie preferences and Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information controls in our site footer to change your choices at any time.
  • Turn on your browser’s Global Privacy Control (GPC); we honor it as an opt-out.
  • Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies.
  • Opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out add-on.

Declining analytics does not break the site.

6. Changes

We may update this policy; the version and date appear at the top. See also our Privacy Policy.
